# Why is my account under review?

> Understand why your account might be under review and what happens next

Your account may be under review for the following reasons:

* Information mismatch or missing details
* Similar information found on another account
* Additional identity checks required for **Know Your Customer (KYC)** or **anti-money-laundering (AML)** compliance

Once verification is complete, your account activates automatically. You will be notified **in-app** and by **email**.
