# Protect Your Account

## Keep your Google account or Apple ID secure

Your Polymarket login is linked to your Google account or Apple ID. Make sure your primary login remains secure.

## Turn on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Enable 2FA on your Polymarket US account to add an additional layer of protection.

## Never share verification codes

Do not share Polymarket verification codes with anyone, including support.

## Avoid fake apps and login screens

Only sign in through the official Polymarket app. Avoid fake Google or Apple login screens.
